How People Can Change Themselves and Make the World a Better Place

No amount of money can actually make the world a better place. If money were the answer to the worl
d’s problems, the world would already be a better place. I do believe that individuals themselves can be better people. Therefore with the hundred dollars I would promote God to receptive folks who are already searching for answers to the trials and tribulations they face, and who are soul searching for meaning in their lives. I would send out a newsletter, with life changing information in it, to a niche market of people, who are open minded to the sanctity of marriage and family, alternative health options for total health, and Christ centered spirituality. In the newsletter, I would show them how they can be healed emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically through humbleness, faith and knowledge in their Creator. The world is about the people in it. The condition of this world is because of the condition of the people. The healthier folks are in all areas of their life, the better the world would be. We cannot change others to be what we want them to be, they have to want to seek, accept, and believe to change themselves. We cannot change Sally to be a better wife to her husband, and we cannot make Tom be a better husband to his wife. But we can provide them with the resources and tools, so they may choose to change themselves. We cannot tell Emily to cleanse her system of unwanted impurities instead of having her gall bladder surgically removed, but we can offer her the resources and tools she needs so she may choose on her own to take responsibility for her health rather than putting too much dependence upon doctors who are surgery happy. I would explain what the true significance of forgiveness is and what it represents from a biblical standpoint, so readers can choose to follow God’s daily guidance, and forgive others their trespasses. If we do not forgive others, what do you think is going to happen to our spiritual and mental health? We will remain stunted spiritually. Unforgiveness teaches us to be rebellious and selfish. If we hang on selfishness and unbelief, and do not forgive, we will remain bitter and cold-hearted. I would show the readers what the true meaning of love is, and what loving others is all about. Love is the most important element of life, but society confuses love with lust and greed, and this is wrong. Money can’t buy you love and happiness. Sex can’t buy you love and happiness. But this is where society believes these things are found. They search and search and search, but never understand the depths and meaning of what love truly is. So then how does one understand the dimensions of love and loving others? Through the source of where they came from! If we are not obeying God’s first commandment, then we certainly cannot and will not understand how to observe properly any of the other commands of God either. It’s really that simple. Life is so simple, yet people make it difficult. Think of all the destruction put upon this world through a loveless and selfish society, and you will come to understand what I am talking about. $100 dollars or $100,000,000 million dollars, it doesn’t matter. The truth is, no amount of money can buy a person a sense of self worth. No, that can only be found in the eyes of the one who made us. “Because he loves me," says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name." Psalm 91:14
